We're Hiring: Production & Dispatch Assistant

Location: Boucher Road, Belfast
Hours: 15–21 hours per week, with potential for more
Pay: £12.75 per hour

About us

Material Goods is a promotional products and custom print company. We produce branded garments and merchandise for businesses using DTF print, embroidery and screen print. We're a small team, so everyone's role matters and you'll see the results of your work go out the door every day.

The role

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our production unit on Boucher Road. You'll print and finish garments, keep stock accurate, pack and dispatch orders, and keep the unit organised. This is a behind-the-scenes production role, not customer facing. Hours are flexible and agreed week to week, with scope for more hours during busy periods.

What you'll do

• Print garments using DTF transfers and a heat press, following artwork and order specs
• Trim and finish embroidered items
• Quality-check finished items before packing
• Count, check and record incoming and outgoing stock
• Pick, pack and box orders accurately and presentably
• Prepare labels and paperwork for dispatch and hand orders over to couriers
• Keep the unit clean, tidy and well organised
• Help with general tasks around the unit as needed

What we're looking for

• Some experience with DTF, heat press, embroidery or garment production is preferred, but full training is provided
• Strong attention to detail, since accuracy matters on every order
• Reliable, organised and able to work on your own once trained
• Physically able to do practical, on-your-feet work, including regular lifting of boxes and stock
• Basic computer skills for stock and dispatch records
• The right to work in the UK
